What the volunteer has to do?

25 hours per week of the following teams:

✔ Gardening

✔ Maintenance and Repairing

✔ Kitchen Work

✔ Room Care

✔ Breakfast Preparation

November - April, Room Care & Breakfast teams are not available

The volunteering program is an exchange between both parties.

It offers an amazing place very well located, with 3 good meals per day, accommodation and a community life. We expect from You as a volunteer  commit to 5 hours of help per day, (Volunteering hours are different-depends which part you are working with.

We expect also that people that join us are caring for the self, for the other and for the space. We want to leave a better place behind and we expect every volunteer that comes here to do the same.

There are communal tasks like cleaning common toilets and cleaning the kitchen, that are shared by everyone and not counted as part of the 5 hours per on duty day.

Everyone is also involved in helping out with the compost toilets operation.

This means at least once or twice during their stay, to participate in the cleaning.

🚫 Number of showers per week might be limited due to the dry season.

• Days off: 2 days per week.
• Minimum Period for volunteering: 1 month
• Maximum period for volunteering: 2 months

✔ Shared Dorms: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
✔ Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely.
✔ Use the Equipped Kitchen: Feel free to use kitchen and make your own delicious food.
✔ Free Hiking Tours: They'll take you on excursions and hikes around town for free.
✔ Tent: You will sleep in a tent in the camping site.
✔ 3 Meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.
✔ Pick Up: They'll pick you up when you arrive and take you to our property.
✔ Yoga Classes: you can join the yoga classes that we offer for the guests.

 • Shared rooms and bathrooms - males in a shared accommodation and females in another shared accommodation.

• Sometimes due to the large number of volunteers, rooms are shared between males and females.

Temperatures average about 75°F (24°C) in summer and 50°F (10°C) in winter.
